I thought I'd share some photos of what is currently happening on our literacy shelves. These are simply reading, writing/coloring and fine motor activities. Robbie is free to choose these activities whenever he wishes.
His reading lessons and related activities are not included in this post. I'll talk more about those next week.
READING
Robbie's books (I got the idea for keeping books he's mastered in an easily accessible bin for him from Carisa at 1+1+1=1. I apologize for not being able to find the exact post. The good news is that any of her posts are sure to inspire you.)
Here are some of the books that were in the bin on the day I took the photo.
Magnetic white board and letters (Robbie loves to spell).
WRITING
Stencils and markers
Various crayons
Wipe-off pre-cursive tracers
FINE MOTOR (pre-writing activities)
Beads and Baubles
Tweezing patterns
The game of Perfection
Homemade lacing/tying shoe

I LOVE the tweezing patterns! Where did you find the pre cursive tracers?
ReplyDeleteStephanie,
ReplyDeleteI actually made them a long time ago.
Here is a link to the post about them.
