Weekly Wrap-Up

Nursery School Wrap Up

Robbie is 2.5 years old.

This week's work was way less formal than usual. We did many more play and craft activities.

Hands-on activities (with pictures) are featured in our Tot-School updates every Sunday.

"One Last Supper" and "Jesus is Alive"

Memory Work: "Do this in remembrance of me."

He does a short lesson before his nap and before bedtime... he's still begging for it!

Ss pages & Played the Short-Vowel Shuffle daily (he calls it the "honk game")

a few pages

Games with our phonics eggs.

Starfall.com - he didn't want to play on Starfall this week

This week's read-alouds can be found here.

- Fine Motor: play-doh, painting, gluing, tracing, stickers

He found this on my shelf and asked to "do school". He wouldn't stop until he'd finished the book.

No Lessons this week. We reviewed past concepts through natural play and tot-school activities.

Numeral recognition & other math activities. I finally had to make him stop in this book. I can't believe how much he loves workbooks.

Manipulative Activities: geometric solids, puzzles

  1. Thanks so much for joining up. I love seeing the variety of things that other parents are using with their children.

  2. You have been given a Virtual Easter Basket, please visit my blog and spread the love ! ;-)

  3. Catching up with Preschool Corner posts - it looks like you had a great week, and it's interesting to see how every child is different. My daughter is not interested in workbooks at all - at least not in the late afternoon when I come home from work. But even in her preschool she usually just turns them around and doodles on the other side.
