Weekly Wrap-Up: Summer Edition #2

Since it's Summer, I've shortened our daily task list to just the basics for school. It's making it much, much easier to actually complete our work. We joined our local homeschool group and met some of them for their weekly park day. We had so much fun (both of us). I didn't get any pictures of that.. maybe next week.

Here are some of the things Robbie did this week in addition to his normal school work.

Robbie made this at Sunday School...

He read the following books to me...

He created some artwork based upon the illustrations in "Stevie" by John Steptoe...

He manipulated some numbers...

He investigated nature (note our teeny, tiny yard)...

...and recorded his findings for posterity... (No, I did NOT pick out the shoes and/or socks. That's all Robbie.)

Robbie climbed the highest mountains..

.. and, of course, he was Mario most of the time. In this shot, he was showing off his "Mario belly" (he used his army helmet).

  5. My oldest daughter always wears two different socks. On purpose. The young one always chooses socks that clash with whatever she's wearing. LOL
