We recently registered Robbie for basketball. His practices don't begin until December, but he can hardly wait. We spent some time shopping for his basketball shoes, and I'm proud to tell you that he decided (on his own) to go old-school and get the Chucks.
Yes, it was a proud mommy moment. (Don't judge...lol.)
Robbie chose the Chuck Taylor All Stars. He's definitely my child. |
Okay... on to the stuff about education and such.
Robbie read several articles and how-to guides this week. I'm finding that he DOES enjoy reading when he is seeking answers to a problem. I suppose the key might be interest.
He also wrote his letter to Santa. This is how it without the specific gift requests. (I've made no corrections. I just giggled that he didn't claim to have been "good".)
Dear Santa,I tride to be good. I want ... (insert stuff).Love,Robert
It was his first ever formal letter, as far as I can remember.
We worked on telling time to the minute this week. He really loved working with clocks.
Fun with Clocks!! (Yep, that's a ninja mask.) |
I've also been gathering things for Robbie to use for Monday - Wednesday next week. Most of it is review, as I was trying to keep things light and fun.
