Weekly Wrap-Up

Nursery School Wrap Up

Theme for our studies this week

I couldn't find any forest printables that I cared for so I whipped up a few quick ones for him to use.

Great books we read together

Our Current Read-Aloud post can be found here. It has a few more of the books about forests we enjoyed this week, as well as some other books.

Books and stories Robbie read to me
Pig's Backpack
Hop on Top
The Nap
That Cat!
In the Well
Jack Picks Up

He also re-read several of the old books he's read before... these were simply the new ones.

Learning and exploring...

As Mom/teacher, I found this week to be
... long ...

A favorite hands-on project
... we didn't really have one :( We just played a lot. ...

We laughed when
... we watched a Veggie Tales movie together ...

I am praying for my child to
... finally have a real place to call home ...

Our Favorite extracurricular activity was...
... observing forest animals from the yard ...

Mom's favorite...
... this came in the mail today ... a gift from an online friend ...

I'll be linking this post to Preschool Corner, Weird, Unsocialized Homeschoolers and Mama Buzz.

  1. This looks like a great unit! Forest animals are fun to learn about.

  2. How neat that you could see real animals. I hope your prayer will come true.
