Our Current Math Shelves

Math and Stuff

Robbie considers math a fun game. He loves to solve puzzles of any sort and thinks numbers are cool.

Here is a glimpse of what's hanging out on our current math shelves. I didn't include items from our actual math lessons, I'm sure you'll read enough about those in the future, anyway. ;)

Fractions Board and Equivalency Set (through 1/4 for now)

Place value flip chart

Hundred board and colored tiles

Fifty and one hundred piece puzzles

Geometric solids and sandpaper matching cards

Balance scale and 1cm gram cubes

Coin sorting/matching (one sheet has coin values and the other has coin names)

Geoboards and rubber bands

Do you have math shelves or a center? What do you currently have out for exploration?

  1. I love your manipulatives. Where did you get them?

  2. Phyllis,

Many were gifts from homeschoolers who no longer needed them (what a blessing!). The rest were mostly purchased from Rainbow Resource Center. A few, I made myself.

    Thanks for stopping by! :)
